Outgoing President Ken Rainey with
Incoming President Kenny Fisher
History was made at Enniskillen Rotary Club when Kenny Fisher took up the position of President for the second time, he previously held the post in 2012-2013. The handover took place during the weekly luncheon meeting when outgoing President Ken Rainey handed over the chain of office. Kenny joined the Club in 2002 and has held numerous positions during this time, culminating in the role of President. The theme for the incoming year is "Rotary Serving Humanity", the main fund-raising project for the year is the purchase of a new minibus for Willowbridge School. This is a worthwhile project because at present the school does not have their own bus which can transport clients in wheelchairs. A full programme of events is planned including a BBQ and Treasure Hunt, charity concert, charity breakfast, ladies afternoon tea party and the Annual Rotary Ball. President Kenny also hopes to bring the Club out into the community by having some lunchtime meetings in local businesses and places of interest.
"What a year it has been - exciting, challenging, very enjoyable, memorable, the list goes on. The theme for the year "Be a Gift to the World" was very appropriate, and I trust this objective has been achieved within the Club." President Ken thanked very one for a team effort and welcomed three new members who joined during the year.
