Gospel Concert 2017

An excellent concert was held recently in the Ardhowen Theatre featuring Sligo Gospel Choir, Model School Choir, Lauren Coulter and David Robertson, James Kilbane, Ramona and two flautists. The choir gave two excellent performances singing some sacred and songs from the movies. The Model School sang some lovely pieces and had the audience tapping along. Local singer Lauren Coulter sang some opera numbers along with some well known pieces. As a contrast to the singing Russian harpist performed some pieces on her own and also with two flautists. There was a full house in the auditorium and all of the audience left happy having enjoyed a first class night of music. Proceeds went to the Willowbridge Minibus Peoject.
