On Saturday 23rd November, Sembs, attended the, Junior Chamber Institute Conference at the Plaza Hotel Belfast. Rotary Ireland had sponsored the Conference, with a view to developing a new membership avenue.
There was a stand at the event, and Sembs, spoke with many delegates about Rotary in-between the sessions. This was followed by a Gala Dinner in the City Hall on Saturday night. Some of its members were coming of age as they had to leave when they hit 40. This was a great opportunity for Belfast to increase its members, there were other clubs that could benefit like Dublin and Londonderry.
